Inside how Dorinda Medley prepped extensively for The Traitors US – even her daughter helped
Dorinda Medley may have left Real Housewives years ago, but she certainly knows how to prepare for a reality TV competition. She treated going on The Traitors like an actual crime scene?!
Gone are the days of Bravo for Dorinda Medley! She still made sure she’s 110% ready for The Traitors US, even though she was sadly murdered within just a few episodes. Thanks Bob The Drag Queen.
Dorinda Medley extensively prepared for Traitors US
Dorinda didn’t just sit and wait it out after being casted for The Traitors US. She genuinely acted like she’d been given a major detective role in a serious murder case, and tbf, credit where it’s due.
She spent a month picking out “fabulous” outfits, as told to SiriusXM, read The Art of War twice, and had stacks of papers taped all across the hotel room she stayed in during the show.
Dorinda said, “I went in there and literally in my room, swear to god this is true. I was ready and able. I was in the mindset, and you know, I used to go to Scotland every weekend when I lived in London.”
She even roped her daughter into it
Dorinda’s daughter, Hannah Lynch, was a student at Harvard and used her previous studious expertise to help her mom prepare for The Traitors US. Sadly, Dorinda was voted out by episode 3.
She told SiriusXM, “I had my daughter who was at Harvard doing dissertations with me of how to handle it. We studied the UK show, the US show.” It makes sense, because they wrote Make It Nice together.
Hannah had been studying for her PhD at Harvard in the last two years. Dorinda continued, “So, I was going back to, in a weird way, my homeland ’cause my daughter’s half scotch.”
Although the extensive preparation didn’t lead to her winning, she said, “I take it as a compliment because no one knew me well enough at that point to take it personally. Right?”
