Three RHOC stars fundraise for LA wildfire victims but some people don’t think it’s enough
To support the victims of the devastating California wildfires this January, some RHOC stars are holding a fundraiser. The ladies have put together an event – Let’s Help LA – which will raise funds for Emergency Network LA.
Shannon Beador, Katie Ginella, and Jennifer Pedranti are the Real Housewives of Orange County trio appearing at a meet and greet this January to raise money. The reality TV stars share the event on their social media pages and explain how one hundred per cent of the entry donations will go directly to Emergency Network LA.
Katie, Shannon, and Jenn’s meet and greet
Over the past week firefighters have been battling against deadly blazes in Los Angeles, and 24 people tragically lost their lives, per CNN.
In the aftermath of the wildfires, some RHOC stars are doing what they can to help people affected.
Shannon, Katie and Jenn are making people’s dreams come true with their meet and greet. Not only that, but the RHOC stars are raising money for the wildfire victims.
On Saturday January 18th, the RHOC trio are appearing at The Bungalow located in Corona Del Mar.
A $100+ donation is required for entry and one hundred percent of the entry fee is going to Emergency Network LA.
A percentage of bar sales is also going to the non profit organisation.
RHOC star Gina Kirschenheiter is also helping out where she can.
She and her partner, Travis Mullen, take to Instagram to say how they are offering their help to anyone needing to move to the OC.
They explain in their post: “If you have been effected by the fires and plan to move down to Orange County, The Gated Group will represent you and donate 100% of the commission either directly back to you or to a disaster relief fund supporting those effected by the fires…”
People thank RHOC stars for their efforts
The RHOC stars’ efforts clearly aren’t going unnoticed by their followers.
Katie writes in her post: “We are all devastated watching the destruction in LA. We will be hosting a a fundraiser to give support to all those in need and we need your help to make our goal! Please join us for an evening of love, laughs, and community. Even if you are not able to attend, please consider making a donation to help in these dire times.”
Many people are taking to the comments to thank Bravo stars Katie, Jenn, and Shannon for putting the fundraiser together.
One writes: “This is so thoughtful!! It’s awesome when you support a show, and the casts from the show…shows up, and offers support, in a time of need, for the people hurting in Los Angeles.”
Another says: “Absolutely incredible! Way to step up. I hope more people follow the example y’all have set. Bravo!”
However, there are some people who are taking to the comments section to say the ladies efforts aren’t enough in their eyes.
One says: “Maybe you should give up your paycheck,” and more ask where the ladies’ support was for victims of different natural disasters in other US states.
More write: “I get the intention, But it’s a little narcissistic. Hope you raise lots though.”
However, the RHOC trio clearly has a lot of loyal fans who urge them to “ignore the haters,” and share their support and appreciation for what they’re doing.
