David Murphey has sadly died after a health battle. The 90 Day Fiance star’s death was confirmed by his family, who revealed that he passed away at home on December 11 at the age of 66.
Cameras followed the short-lived love story between David Murphey and his now-ex, Lana, on 90 Day Fiance. After the sad news of his passing, David’s TLC co-stars are paying tribute.

David Murphey has died aged 66
David Murphey has passed away after several years of health battles, at the age of 66. He is survived by his two sisters and his cat Gamera, and recently retired from the Clark County Treasurer’s office in Nevada.
He was diagnosed with liver cancer a year ago. His family, who have asked for privacy, are now asking fans to donate to The Animal Foundation in his name, because he loved cats so much.
During his stint on 90 Day Fiance, David finally met Lana in Ukraine and got engaged to her. Although the couple got engaged, they never married and eventually separated.
90 Day Fiance co-stars pay tribute
David’s co-stars have paid tribute to him on social media, including David Toborowsky, who said he spoke to him on the phone just six weeks ago for a couple of phones but was “hopeful he had more time.”
90 Day Fiance star, Statler, wrote: “So sorry to hear that. He was such a nice guy. Shocking and unexpected. May he rest easy. Will send a donation for cats, so glad that he had a passion for them.”
Mariah from the show said: “He was the kindest😢 such a sad day.” Annie said, “😢😢Rest in peace,” while Sojaboy penned, “R.I.P David, a very nice guy 😢💔🕊️🙏🏾.”
Larissa Alima paid tribute and wrote, “Rest in paradise 💔,” and Tiffany Franco said, “So sad 😢 rest in peace David 💔.” Tom Brooks penned, “We were only with him last week RIP my friend heartbreaking.”
