Kim Kardashian’s former chef shares specific meal requests she made on vacation
Turns out the Kardashians aren’t just all about shakeable salads and matcha lattes. Kim Kardashian’s former chef shares some specific meal requests she made on vacation – and it seems she has a real thing for a savory treat.
Anyone who loves the Kardashians may have thought they’d seen it all when it comes to the variety of their culinary desires. North West tucking into a raw onion was one thing, and Kris Jenner has made it crystal clear she loves to bake. Some of the ladies didn’t inherit their mom’s cooking skills, though. Kim has admitted to “not being the best cook,” and Kendall – well, Kendall proved simply cutting a cucumber isn’t her bag.

Kim Kardashian ‘isn’t the best cook’
She’s admitted it herself. Kim Kardashian said in the November 13 episode of What The Winkler?! podcast how her mom is good at cooking but she “is not.”
Kim’s bestie and podcast host, Zoe Winkler, chimes in: “You are. I remember that time you made chicken?”
The mom-of-four admits: “I know how to make a soul food meal. That is something… I know how to make fried chicken… like a sweet potato dish, mac and cheese.”
Zoe laughs at how Kim used to make “elaborate soul food dinners” in her old home.
However, when it comes to anything else, it looks like her private chef steps in. And, a former chef of Kim’s has got the 411 on what her go-to was while on vacation.

Kim’s foodie requests on vacation
Kim Kardashian is a busy lady.
She says she takes her kids to school every morning because it’s their “bonding time,” and as well as being a mom to four young kids, she’s also running globally recognized companies.
Naturally, a private chef has got to take the reins in the kitchen, because between being an entrepreneur, billionaire, mom, and reality TV star – well, who has the time?
A former chef of Kim’s, Jesse Henderson, told The Daily Mail back in the summer how when he worked for Kim three years ago, she had some specific requests.
Lifting the lid on what the icon opts for food-wise, Jesse said she loved: “Chicken tenders and fries” and “pasta with no sauce.”
Apparently, he was “stunned by Kim’s love for carbs,” and recalled some words she shared with him:
“Everyone is probably telling you quinoa this and veggie that, but I just want to be honest with you, I want chicken tenders and pasta with no sauce.”
And the cost of whipping up a dish for Kim? “about ‘$2,000 to $5,000’ per casual dinner,” apparently.
Describing Kimmy as “down to earth,” Jesse added how “her kitchen filled with salty bites.”
“They always had to have pasta, fries, chicken tenders and burgers in their kitchen,” he says of the savory-snack-loving queens.
