Catherine Richards is keen to make her parents proud with the choice she makes on Love Is Blind UK. The 30-year-old is appearing in the first ever season of the UK spin-off. She admits she’s “brought home some rotten men,” but now it seems it’s time for change as some fans are rooting for her and another co-star to go the distance.
Netflix‘s Love Is Blind has been such a hit that the show has now hopped across the pond to the UK. Married couple Matt and Emma Willis are hosting the show and guiding the participants along as they embark on the unique dating journey.
Meet Love Is Blind UK’s Catherine Richards
Dancer and performer Catherine is ready to find her dream man on Love Is Blind UK.
She’s repping a “six pack and long blonde hair,” and she’s had enough of people judging her for her outer appearance.
Speaking during episode 1, she says in the pods how her pastimes include “day drinks, brunch with the girls,” adding how she used to do “kickboxing.”
Catherine says she “loves a good time,” and is “looking for someone to do fun stuff with,” adding: “Just because we’re married doesn’t mean you need to sit at home all day.”

Many of Catherine’s fans are taking to her Instagram comments (@catrichards94) to say they’re backing her romance with Freddie Powell, 32.
Her IG page shows she really does love a brunch and a good time as she’s seen posing with a drink in hand in multiple pics.
However, she also has some people going as far as creating Reddit threads to discuss her time on the Netflix show.
Although Catherine is all smiles on Instagram, and she’s giving positive vibes on Love Is Blind, many people are calling her “inauthentic.”
One took to Reddit to say: “She gave me some mean girl energy sometimes…”
Another said: “I can see her being high maintenance and superficial/materialistic. Her comment about her six-pack really made me cringe. I think she tried to make herself seem more down-to-earth than she probably is.. but we’ll see!”

However, others disagree that she’s “mean,” saying: “She seemed fine to me” and “I don’t get a mean girl vibe from her but more like someone who shouldn’t be dating yet because she has a lot of self work first…”
