Some of the Love Island USA stars grew in popularity so much that their social media followings have soared to new heights. This summer, some fans are convinced Leah Kateb, 24, could rival Instagram queen Kylie Jenner, 26, with how many new followers she’s been raking in.
Kylie should watch out, say fans
Love Island USA season 6 may have ended, but chatter to do with this year’s contestants still isn’t slowing down.
Fans are keen to find out all the latest gossip on the Islanders with some even taking to Reddit threads to discuss certain topics.
One thread has been created to tell Kylie Jenner her “ender is here,” and that she’s “got competition” in the form of Love Island USA star Leah.
Fans are finding similarities between the two ladies, including sharing Calabasas as the place they call home, and impressive Instagram followings.
One person writes: “Leah Kateb, she was on Love Island this last season (just ended) and was a major fan favorite. She gained 1.5+million followers.”
Another adds: “She was also the first contestant to hit 1 million followers and is also from Calabasas and is wealthy.”
Although Leah is clearly doing well for herself social-media-wise since the Peacock show, racking up almost 3 million followers, King Kylie still takes the crown as she has a hefty 400 million followers herself.
‘Leah and Kylie have lots of similarities’
Not only do Leah and Kylie have booming social accounts, but fans have also picked up on more things they seem to have in common.
Some of Kylie and Leah’s Instagram posts see them looking pretty similar. Both ladies have dark hair, and curvaceous figures.
When it comes to style, one fan also tweets via X (Twitter): “Leah Kateb has the same vibe as Kylie Jenner in her King Kylie era and I love it.”
It looks like the two have the same taste as another fan writes: “She even got the same bikini as Kylie.”
More comment on how the ladies’ vibes have them “in love” and more say how Leah brings back old memories of a younger Kylie: “I have always loved Kylie and now I LOVE LEAH. We know a queen when we see it.”
