After eight weeks of gathering round the firepit and pulling someone for a chat, Love Island is officially coming to a sad end. Mimi and Josh have only been coupled up for a few weeks, but they’re a fan fave.
Maya Jama ‘can’t hide that she stans’
Mimi and Josh were asked by Maya Jama how they felt to be in the final. He admits he’s “already won” regardless of the outcome, and fans noticed how much the ITV show host smiled in return.
One fan wrote, “Call me deluded – Maya spoke to Mimii first and she was the first to walk into the villa before the final date. Is that a good sign? Hang on in there #Jomii fans.”
Mimi and Josh are faves to win
Since Josh walked in and only had eyes for Mimi – after a brief flirt with Grace – fans were obsessed with how he treated her like the queen she is, after Ayo left her single post-Casa Amor.
There were a few brief issues, such as her constantly pulling Ayo for chats, and even when the ‘secret mission’ was revealed by Joey Essex, but Josh helped Mimi become a “lover girl” again.
Although Ciaran and Nicole are firm favorites to win, social media appears to be backing Mimi and Josh to take home this year’s crown. They’ve even got their own hashtag, ‘#Jomii’, named after their teddy.
