EXCLUSIVE: A far-fetched rumor The Real Housewives of Dubai star, Caroline Stanbury, has her bills, mortgage and clothes bought for her by a friend, Michael Davis, has been started by Caroline Brooks.
Michael Davis has been close friends with The Real Housewives of Dubai cast member, Caroline Stanbury, for ages. However, co-star, Caroline Brooks, claimed Michael currently pays Stanbury’s bills.
Caroline Brooks starts Michael rumor
During Tuesday’s episode of RHODubai, Ayan and Brooks both took to their confessionals to share what Davis allegedly told them. Brooks said, “When Michael drinks too much, he talks a little too much.”
She added, “Allegedly, Michael pays the mortgage, every utility, clothing, everything.” Stanbury, who has been married to Sergio José Carrallo Pendás since 2021, has not responded to the claims.
Ayan claimed in her own confessional, “Michael pays for all Caroline Stanbury’s bills, Michael pays for Caroline Stanbury’s maid’s bills, do you know that? When he’s drunk he tells you.”
Reality Tidbit has reached out to Caroline Stanbury and Michael Davis’ reps for comment.
Close source calls rumor ‘ludicrous’
A close source to Stanbury described the rumor as “ludicrous”. They exclusively told Reality Tidbit, “This narrative has really backfired on Brooks. Obviously Brooks’ claim is ludicrous.”
Brooks told Page Six she recently ran into Davis on a night out in Dubai when he was “drunk” and “started spilling” information. She said, “He was like, ‘I pay all the bills in that house. I pay for everything.’”
Stanbury previously introduced viewers to Davis after he let the Stanbury and her husband stay in his home for a few weeks, and they’ve been close friends for years.
Brooks claims that at the time of their chat, Davis was “really angry” with Stanbury’s husband and was “saying that Sergio needs to step up and take care of her, because right now it’s all on me.”
Brooks and Stanbury grew apart
Brooks and Stanbury were close, but they grew apart when Stanbury grew close with Taleen Marie. “I do think once she saw I was getting closer with all the girls, it wasn’t going her way,” Marie told Page Six.
“There’s different dynamics with the other women and the drama is all real that happens. And it’s sad because we did have a solid friendship,” she added, but Marie is still holding out “hope”.
