During The Kardashians season 5, Kris Jenner‘s daughters throw her a party to lighten the mood as she prepares for surgery. Her partner, Corey Gamble, 43, is also on hand to give her gifts to lift her spirits. As Kris experiences another surgery in her sixties, she teases the idea of a wedding with her friends.
Kris Jenner teases ‘wedding’ idea
During The Kardashians season 5 episode 8, Kris Jenner shares a revelation as it seems wedding plans aren’t off the cards for her.
Previously appearing on The Ellen Show, Kris said two years into her relationship with Corey that marriage wasn’t a top priority.
The momager said she wanted to take a “page out of Goldie and Kurt’s book” explaining: “You know, I’ve done that twice and it didn’t work out so well… As long as things are going so well, why ruffle it up?”
However, it seems things have changed as she tells her friends on The Kardashians she’s “not getting married this very second.”
Kathy Hilton thought Kris was going to share wedding news with her, but she was actually revealing her hysterectomy.
However, the topic of a wedding wasn’t unwelcome as Kris talked about her friends being “bridesmaids when she gets married.”
She said: “Okay, so maybe when I’m 70.”
Kris’ critics aren’t keen on the idea
As Kris attempts to live her best life in her older years, critics are quick to jump on a Reddit thread to tear down her idea of a wedding.
The main issue Kris’ critics seem to have with the idea is her age gap with Corey. She’s 68 and he’s 43 – the same age as Kim Kardashian.
Despite being together for 10 years, fans are now analyzing the couple’s age difference as talk turns to marriage.
One person comments: “I knew he was younger but I never realized he was basically Kourtney’s age”
Another said: “This is sooo cringe.”
More corrected other thread users writing how Corey and Kim are the same age and Kourtney Kardashian is actually 45 years old – two years older than him.
Some people appear to be commending the Kar-Jenners for living their lives as they wish, however, as one person says they “can’t believe” Kourtney had a baby at 45 years old.
Despite the comments rolling in, Kris only made the comments in theory and hasn’t actually be proposed to – yet.
