Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, Reece, has been hailed “interesting” as she stars on Netflix’s American Sweethearts show. Many fans say she’s been given too much camera time as the “perfect cheerleader”.

The Netflix star is one of dozens of women to make the 2023 Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders squad. Reece Weaver, who recently got married to husband Will, has received mixed opinions from viewers.

Reece Weaver hailed ‘interesting’

Reece Weaver, from Jacksonville, has been described as “interesting” by confused fans. Many couldn’t figure out her narrative in the cheerleader series after series 1, as she is heavily featured.

She “hopes people don’t see her but see Jesus” and was named Miss Florida’s Outstanding Teen in 2017. Before she became a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, Reece was a member of the Alabama Dance Team.

One said, “Her character is weird and confusing and doesn’t make sense, and is low drama and uninteresting. But she’s also kind, polite, willing to help, takes feedback well, and financially secure.”

One fan wrote, “She’s not that interesting at all. Her character is likeable, but she’s getting too much focus,” while another penned, “Reece lost me early on. I wish they’d stop featuring her.”

“There’s something that I find almost robotic about Reece, I’m sure in person she seems lovely, and she’s obviously a great dancer but IDK there’s something about her demeanour,” said another viewer.

She tied knot with husband Will

Reece finally secured her happy ending after tying the knot with Will in Jacksonville in April. They met in college, with Will relocating, so Reece could live out her dreams as a cheerleader.

“Her dream was to become a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader. I wasn’t going to be a dream squasher. That was her dream. I really didn’t have any massive dreams or anything, so I was like, ‘My dream is to pursue this woman.’ And that was my dream and that still is today,” he told cameras.
