Kylie Jenner has finally snapped back at trolls who claimed she’d had too much filler. During Paris Fashion Week in January, The Kardashians star faced a ton of “nasty” speculation about her appearance.
She admitted she’s had to deal with criticism since she was just 13 years old. Thrust into the limelight at such a young age, Kylie Jenner broke down while telling her sister how she was feeling.
Kylie Jenner snaps back at trolls
Kylie said on The Kardashians that if she wore a lot of makeup, people would say she was wearing “too much makeup,” but if she went in the opposite direction, people would also criticize her on social media.
In particular, she was hurt that fans — as well as cosmetic dermatologists and professionals experienced with injecting fillers and Botox — had pointed out diagonal lines running through her plump cheeks.
Fans and professionals speculated she had used too much filler below her eyes and over her cheek bones, creating the prominent crease, but she said she’s had significant lines since she was a child.
She’s faced criticism since 13
Having been thrown into the limelight on Keeping Up With The Kardashians as young children, she admitted in a confessional interview, “I just hear nasty things about myself all the time.”
Kylie confessed it was a “miracle” she still had any “confidence” left and that she could look in a mirror and “think that I’m pretty” after she received trolling comments on her appearance earlier this year.
It comes after she wore less makeup during her Paris Fashion Week appearance. She also confessed to being on a “journey” over the past year in which she dissolved half of her lip filler.
“I think with me, it’s never going to change,” Kylie said while tearing up. She said people had complained about her looks even before she got fillers and were saying she looks old.
The Kardashians feel ‘dehumanized’
Kendall Jenner told her sister how their family feels “dehumanized” after Kylie questioned why nobody sticks up for them online, with all of them regularly facing criticism.
“I’m kind of like, so numb to people talking about my looks at this point, and I just want to know why on the internet no one says anything or thinks that it’s OK,” Kylie said.
Kendall told her sibling, “They don’t think that there are any rules with us. If you talked the same way you talk about us about any other woman, people would come to their defense all day long.”
