Kris Fade and DJ Bliss are feuding on Dubai Bling to the point where the musician chases his co-star around a tattoo shop. Netflix fans say the season 2 beef “feels forced” even though Bliss claims he and Kris have had ongoing drama for years. And not just a couple of years – an entire 12 years!
Firstly, does anyone even have the time nor energy to beef with someone for over a decade? Even so, the Kris and DJ Bliss tension on Netflix is brewing. Kris Fade and his wife Brianna are now at an all-time high when it comes to the feud, even though Dubai Bling season 1 showed none of it.
Kris and Bliss on Dubai Bling
Kris and Bliss have had ongoing beef for 12 years. When the DJ confronts Kris in a tattoo shop, Fade ends up trying to leave, to which Bliss asks him: “Listen, why are you running away?”
Years ago, Kris and Brianna didn’t invite DJ Bliss and his wife, Daria, to their wedding. During Dubai Bling season 2, Bliss and Daria appear to be trying to influence Ebraheem’s wedding guest list to not invite Kris.
Bliss claims he and Kris are “competitors” in the music industry and he sees Kris as his biggest rival. The DJ even attempted to ask Kris to participate in his gig!
Shop chasing drama ‘feels forced’
Bliss brings up the drama between him and Kris on Dubai Bling season 2, to which Kris decides to leave the conversation in a tattoo shop, before Bliss proceeds to chase him out of there.
Fans are confused about where the beef between them even came from, as it wasn’t aired in season 1. Some assume Bliss is “using” Kris for a storyline, but he doesn’t bother responding to confrontations.
One Twitter user wrote: “& Bliss is trying to manufacture this beef between him and Kris when it’s clear Kris doesn’t give a damn #DubaiBling.” Another said that Kris “lives in Bliss’s head rent-free”.
Kris and Brianna ‘mind their business’
Dubai Bling fans are loving Kris and Brianna’s vibe as they often “mind their business” and stay away from the drama. A Reddit thread was launched to discuss the married couple in season 2.
One fan wrote: “Kris and Brianna are definitely my faves this season alongside Mona. All they did was mind their business and be positive. I love them. Bliss was just weird.”
Another penned: “It was DJ Bliss for me. He seemed like a pretty chill person last season, but his misogyny is really showing in S2. Danya deserves so much better than him.”
“The man is screaming for a storyline for clout. Started obsessing over some nonsensical drama with Kris in the first few episodes, literally chasing him down for a confrontation,” reacted another fan.
