New Lives in the Wild: Who is Jake Williams? Hermit hopes to marry a Kardashian!

Channel 5 series “Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild” latest episode features Jake Williams, a pensioner who hopes to marry one of the Kardashians someday.

Ben Fogle is back with series 13 of his documentaries “New Lives in the Wild” on Channel 5.

In the series, Ben Fogle travels to remote parts of the UK, visiting people who are living off-grid and following them in their everyday adventures.

This week’s protagonist is Jake Williams, a Scottish hermit who has been living in his secluded cottage for 40 years.

Who is Jake Williams?

Jake Williams is a 70-year-old pensioner who has been living “off-grid” in a remote forest for four decades.

He set up home in a cottage in the Cairngorms, a mountain range in Scotland, 40 years ago.

He’s a former seaman, who has two cats, no TV, and enjoys the diet of roadkill stir-fry.

In the episode that will air on January 26th 2021 on Channel 5, Williams reveals that he never intended to live on his own for so long, but he has survived: “I’m happy and I love my wild, but I would like to share my life with someone else.”

Jake Williams jokes about marrying a Kardashian

Even though hermit Jake Williams doesn’t own a TV, he’s familiar with the Kardashians and their reach.

Williams opens up about his failed marriage and his desire to find a partner: “I was married years ago but it fizzled out.”

“I’m getting older and I’m going to need some young people to help me run the place. I’m going to marry a Kardashian and have loads of children. Seriously though, I would like to meet someone pleasant,” Williams claims.
