This YouTuber is getting rich by feeding his kids laxatives and pretending to kill them for views

One of YouTube's biggest hitters is a channel called CJ SO COOL, run by Cordero James Brady. He's got 5.6 million followers, and he runs a vlog about his family. But in between the aspirational clips about moving into bigger houses and buying luxury cars are some truly disturbing videos that a cyberbullying expert is condemning as child abuse.
Like FamilyOFive, the abusive dad whose channel was shut down last week, Brady frequently torments his kids in sick pranks. He feeds them laxatives, shoots off fireworks while they sleep, and pretends to kill them. He laughs when he his kids to tears, and has declared himself the "king of pranks." From videos like Fed The Kids Dog Doo Doo PRANK! and Gave Your Kid A Black Eye PRANK, Brady has amassed nearly a billion views.
By far one of his worst uploads is Gave The Kids Laxative Prank, a horrid vlog that shows Brady hiding Pedia-Lax in bowls of ice cream and feeding them to his children. Brady films them as the laxatives kick in – his kids are in tears and wailing in pain. "My stomach hurts," screams one of the children. "Oh my goodness, this boy's stomach is broken!" he jokes. In separate bathrooms, they sit on the toilet crying, trying to close the door on him as he continues to hold the camera on them.
The laxative video has since been taken offline, but Brady is still at it. Typical vlogs include I BEAT UP THE KIDS PRANK and DEAD SISTER PRANK ON KIDS!!! Check out a particularly distressing clip called FIREWORKS IN THE HOUSE PRANK ON KIDS. It shows him talking about a two-camera set-up so he can capture the moment he lights fireworks in the kids' bedroom and wakes them up.
As his children start crying, Brady laughs his head off. "It’s a prank because they think somebody was shooting!" he tells his partner, before boasting to the camera: "CJ SO COOL will always be the king of pranks!"
In DROWNING BABY PRANK, Brady pretends to his partner, Royalty, that her infant daughter has died in the pool. As she comes running out the house to fetch her kid out the water, Brady shouts: "It’s a prank, sucker!”
The video description reads: "Pranked my girlfriend with her daughter drowning in the pool prank this Drowning Baby Prank was epic and deserves 50k likes!"
And that's not the only thing he's done to Royalty – there is an extremely upsetting video on Brady's channel that vlogs her miscarriage. We Lost Our Baby is a bleak look into the world of YouTubers who will turn literally anything into content, no matter what.
As Royalty lies in bed, barely conscious after recovering from surgery, Brady films her and asks for commenters on his video to discuss losing the baby. "We prayed for the baby, we prayed for a positive outcome," he says. "But she lost the baby and she lost the tube. So now we just want her to get well so we can go back to regular life. I’m going to be careful to make sure I get can my pull out game fixed so this won’t happen again."
His kids, though, bare the brunt of the filmed abuse. ELECTROCUTING THE POOL PRANK ON FAMILY is a grim clip targeting his children. "The kids don't know that we have a waterproof speaker," Brady tells the camera. "I'm about to throw it in the pool while they’re in there and scare them into thinking that they’re about to get electrocuted. This might be super epic! Hopefully no one has a heart attack or actually gets electrocuted. And hopefully my speaker actually is waterproof, but either way guys, here we go. Smack a like on that like button."
In an interview with babe, a child abuse expert condemned Brady's channel as "horrific." Dr Kortney Peagram, founder of Bulldog Solution, an anti-child abuse organization, said: "Harming your child on purpose with laxatives is child abuse. That's child endangerment."
She added: "That [Brady is] harming his children and bullying them to pull pranks on each other is really disturbing. He’s modeling inappropriate behavior and encouraging it by laughter… He’s teaching his children that it’s OK to harm each other for a good laugh."
We have contacted YouTube, which has monetized Brady's channel, for comment. They have seen our message but have yet to respond.

FIREWORKS IN THE HOUSE PRANK ON KIDS has been taken offline. Since we contacted YouTube, they have opened our message over 100 times but not responded.

A YouTube spokesperson said: "Content that endangers minors is unacceptable to us and we have strict policies prohibiting child endangerment and harmful and dangerous content. We remove content that violates our policies as soon as we’re made aware of it."
