Did he really do it?! Channing Tatum has finally responded to those ‘burner account’ claims
It’s actually hilarious
Channing Tatum has finally addressed the very strange theory that he was secretly running an Instagram account making digs at his ex-fiancée Zoë Kravitz and her fiancé Harry Styles.
The whole saga began when an account called Nonya Bidness was discovered, after it had been leaving some extremely pointed comments about Zoë and Harry.

Things became considerably more suspicious when it emerged that Channing’s official Instagram account appeared to be the page’s only follower. He subsequently unfollowed it, before the account disappeared entirely.
One post which went viral on X was captioned: “OMGGG SO IT WAS ACTUALLY CHANNING TATUM’S BURNER”, alongside an apparent screenshot of a statement from the Nonya Bidness account.

The statement read: “I’m aware of the conversation surrounding this account and understand the questions that have been raised. There are aspects of this situation that are deeply personal, and I don’t believe it would be appropriate to discuss the private circumstances or the people involved publicly.
“I recognize that things were said through this account that should not have been said, and I take responsibility for addressing the situation. I have privately contacted the people who were hurt and apologized directly.
“Some matters involve people who are very close to me, and I hope their privacy will be respected. I’m not going to add to the speculation or discuss anyone’s identity. I’m going to leave things here and respect everyone involved.”
Except, crucially, that was not a statement from Channing.
The actor has now directly addressed the rumours himself, and his response is considerably less serious.
Taking to his Instagram Story, Channing wrote: “Yo, I truly can’t believe y’all think this is what I’m doing with my free time. F**kin hilarious. Also, why would I follow a burner account if I didn’t want people to connect me to it? Wtf come on. But if I really need to say it, I only have one IG account: @channingtatum.”

And then there was the account’s own response when someone suggested Channing was behind it.
“I’m not him, boo, go read a book,” it replied.
That doesn’t exactly constitute forensic evidence, but it certainly adds another layer to the already deeply bizarre saga. For now, Channing has explicitly denied being behind Nonya Bidness.
