Love Island’s Jasmine reveals exactly how she wants Kavan to ask her to be his girlfriend
She has it all planned out
It’s been almost a month since Love Island 2026, and none of the cast members have gone official yet, but Jasmine has revealed exactly how she wants Kavan to ask her to be his girlfriend.
The Islander did a vibey new cover shoot with Cosmopolitan and revealed she wants things to be really low-key and romantic. No hotel rooms filled with heart-shaped helium balloons or showy gestures in sight.
Jasmine’s dream girlfriend proposal would be on a beach somewhere, with nobody else around. She doesn’t want Kavan to make a big deal of things at all.
“The most romantic way someone could ask me to be their girlfriend is probably just on a one on one. Maybe we’re at a beach somewhere,” she said.
“We’ve been there all day, we’re having a little drink, maybe playing a card game, and you’re just like, ‘I just love you, can you just be my girlfriend? I just want you to be mine. I’ll be like, ‘Yeah, okay’.”

Jasmine revealed they are trying to book a trip to Greece very soon, so she hopes it will happen when they’re there. She’s got it all planned out!
Speaking about their relationship on This Morning, Kavan said: “We’re not boyfriend and girlfriend, but I’d say we’re very much in love.” Jasmine added: “I feel like we’re very near that though.”
When asked why they haven’t made things official yet, Kavan said: “It’s now about coming out, living this part of life together, making sure this part of life works. But so far it’s been great, honestly I’ve been loving it. It’s on the way. It’s on that track. We’ve got to be smart here. There’s no point rushing things.”
