Get ready: Manchester’s 2026 ‘A Lovely Weekend’ comedy festival line-up has been revealed

The three-day festival features a cast member from the new SNL UK

Manchester comedy festival A Lovely Weekend has announced its full 2026 line-up ahead of its May return.

The festival will return to Fairfield Social Club from Friday 29th May to Sunday 31st May.

Friday kicks things off with Harriet Kemsley, recently seen on Last One Laughing, alongside viral stand-up Tom Lawrinson.

Saturday will see the return of Mark Silcox, who sold out at the festival last year, as well as the first ever live edition of Sean McLoughlin’s podcast, The Sean McTalk Show.

Sunday rounds off the weekend with comic Josh Pugh, newly announced SNL UK cast member Larry Dean and French comedian and writer Celya AB.

Organisers have confirmed that Amy Gledhill will no longer appear after postponing due to personal reasons.

Festival producer John Stansfield said: “With around 20 shows over the course of three days we can’t wait to pack out Fairfield Social Club with comedy fans for a heck of a lovely time and speaking personally, my favourite weekend of the year!”

Weekend passes cost £80, including a complimentary brew and breakfast sarnie on both Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday passes cost £50 and Sunday passes cost £45, with single-show tickets also available.
