MAFS UK’s Davide posts full letter he wrote to Keye for commitment ceremony and I’m crying
He was too ill to attend
Davide had to miss the first MAFS UK commitment ceremony because he was unwell, but he’s now shared the full adorable letter he wrote for Keye.
The 33-year-old attended the commitment ceremony alone, telling the experts how great things went at their wedding and honeymoon. Then, they passed him a really sweet letter Davide had written for him and Keye read out a few of the lines, but the note was actually a lot longer.
“This journey on MAFS has been wild, beautiful, and deeply personal but at its heart, it’s about connection. About finding someone you can see, and be seen by, with no masks, no façade. Last night I wrote this letter to my husband, and I want to share it with you all because it’s a moment I’m proud of a moment of love, honesty, and growth,” Davide wrote on Instagram.

The adorable letter begins: “Hey there, you beautiful human. Last night I realised that I finally know now how to describe you. You are not masc, you are not fem, you are just my KEYE, and that’s all I asked for from the beginning, and all I’ve been getting. The real you. I have no words to explain how amazing you are and how much I adore you. This last week I have seen us go from strength to strength, and I could not be more proud to have you as my husband.”

Not only have you changed the way you deflect whenever you don’t want to talk about something serious, you have shown everyone in this room the Keye that I adore, letting them get to know you for who you are no masks, no façade, just my Keye that I’m falling for.”
In the letter, Davide said he was sorry he couldn’t be there to tell Keye how much he means to him in person, and how much he is “looking forward” to their time together. He concluded it with his very easy commitment ceremony decision: “So for sure, STAY as long as you want, mero. Davide.”
