Um, this MAFS UK groom was already an influencer before the show with a million followers?!
I had no idea
One of MAFS UK 2025’s strongest couples right now is Davide and Keye, but did you know the French groom was already an influencer before the show? And we’re not talking about a small influencer either. He has almost a million followers!
I know what you’re thinking. I thought Davide said he was a flight attendant? Well, yes. He was. And his time as cabin crew is what started his successful social media career.
Davide racked up almost a million combined followers (840k on TikTok and 110k on Instagram) making videos about being a flight attendant.
Only 20k of those TikTok followers have been gained since MAFS UK started too, so he was literally already famous. Internet famous at least. Here’s a look inside his vibey cabin crew influencer life before the reality TV show.

Davide started posting on TikTok back in 2019
The Paris-born but Portugal-based 33-year-old started posting videos on TikTok all the way back in 2019. My thumb aches from scrolling back through all 2,065 of his videos, but it started with funny dance and lip-sync videos that he’d film while working on planes. At the time, he flew for Scandinavian Airlines.

He made funny skit videos from the passengers’ point of view too, sharing hilarious scenarios we’ve all been in on flights.

In 2020 when lockdown hit, Davide was made redundant from Scandinavian Airlines after working for them for four and a half years and moving his way up to a senior cabin crew member.
“It was probably the hardest thing that’s ever happened to me. I was actually really depressed. I gave up so much to become a flight attendant. I’m a foreigner so for me to get the job as cabin crew member it was a massive accomplishment for me,” he said in one of his videos.
Davide then took a break from flying for three years, but continued making videos at home instead, while reminiscing on his flying days too.
@daveanica I love this song 🕺🏼 did you see the bee? 🐝 #dreamadream #dreamdream #dreamdance #closeyoureyes #fyp #trend #foryou
The MAFS groom also carried on making informative videos for people thinking about becoming cabin crew about things like height restrictions and whether you’re allowed tattoos.

He joined Virgin Atlantic after a three year break in 2023
After a huge three year break from flying, Davide got a new job with Virgin Atlantic in 2023 and started making flight attendant videos on TikTok once again. He documented his time with Virgin right from the start, unboxing his first ever uniform and making vlogs while doing his training.
@daveanica Replying to @Rani long story short I’m back to fly for my dream airline Virgin Atlantic 👨🏻✈️✈️#flightattendant #cabincrew #fyp
Then, he started doing roster reveals and vlogs travelling all over the world. By 2024, he was getting press invites and going to premieres too, all while still making videos in the sky.

Davide carried on working for Virgin for around two years right up until early 2025, when he quit to try and find the love of his like on MAFS UK.
“I don’t leave this job because I don’t care. I leave because right now, in this moment of my life, it’s the best choice. Sometimes, to advance, you have to move on. And that doesn’t make the dedication any less genuine,” he said in his “final goodbye” to flying.

In his bio, Davide describes himself as “ex cabin crew” and a “content creator,” so it looks like he’s put his flying days behind him and is focussing on being an influencer after MAFS. Whether Keye is part of that new life, we’ll have to wait and see.
