Tyler is reportedly a fan of furry culture

Tyler Robinson, the man accused of fatally shooting Charlie Kirk at a Utah debate, allegedly had an internet history on sites such as Steam, Reddit, and FurAffinity.

Last week, Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck at a rally for his American Comeback Tour. The man taken into custody, Tyler Robinson, could now be facing the death penalty if found guilty, Donald Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi said.

As per both The New York Post and MailOnline, Tyler Robinson allegedly had an interest in furry culture. Furries are described as people who have an interest in anthropomorphic animals, often dressing up in exceedingly expensive suits as their own “fursonas.”

According to those reports, Tyler’s friends revealed his go-to username as craftin247, which popped up on FurAffinity. The platform centres around posting artwork of furries and furry culture, sometimes – but not always – sexualised.

The same reports also revealed Tyler Robinson’s love of gaming, specifically on Steam, where he was usernamed as craftin247. In the “real name” portion of his profile, it was listed as Tyler, and his location was based in Utah. He had played a total of 2,148 hours with “ten years of service”, according to the gaming platform.

Tyler allegedly played a range of games on the platform, including furry games, and in a review of Sea of Thieves, he wrote: “If you play alone you will die alone.”

On the bullets used to shoot Charlie Kirk, Tyler Robinson allegedly engraved a series of internet references. On one, which had an up arrow, a right arrow symbol and another three arrows pointing downwards, people clocked the reference to Helldivers 2. In the game, those commands are used to call in an air strike.

Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin was also a Reddit user

Jordan Brann, who is said to have attended Pine View High School with Tyler Robinson, shed further light on his internet presence in a since-deleted video.

“All I am going to say is that this is what happens when you spend too much time online and all of a sudden your beliefs are all the way this way or all the way this way, and you do some dramatic stuff to please these people that are not your friends,” he said.

He also described Tyler as a “reddit kid”, and his username on the platform matches up with his other accounts.
