Awkward! This Love Island 2025 finalist has ALREADY gone back to his day job

Love Island finalist Harry Cooksley is proving you can go back to normality after the villa, as he swaps sun-soaked romance for his day job.

Just weeks after finishing as runner-up alongside Shakira Khan, Harry has returned to his day job, playing football for Farnham Town FC.

He laced up his boots this weekend, stepping back onto the pitch at The Memorial Ground in Mead Lane, Farnham. The club’s Instagram confirmed his return, posting their line-up with the caption: “Cooksley returns to the squad.”

People were quick to joke that it was “back to grafting” for the Islander, who has traded late-night parties and villa drama for training sessions and matchday action. Snaps from the game showed Harry fully in action, looking comfortable back in his football kit and clearly enjoying life away from the cameras.

Off the field, Harry’s personal life is still making headlines. He and Shakira Khan have confirmed that they are officially a couple, a month on from leaving the show. He addressed the news on TikTok where he responded to a comment.

Underneath a video of the pair, one person questioned Harry as they said: “Are y’all official?”

Somebody else was quick to point out that Harry branded Shakira his “lady” to imply they had cemented their relationship.

Appearing to clear up the confusion, Harry replied to the original comment to simply say: “Correct.”

The pair have since been spotted spending time together outside the villa, enjoying their relationship in the public eye. Harry has headed to Burnley to spend time with Shakira and her family, documenting the trips on TikTok.

Meanwhile, Harry recently faced an awkward reunion with former Love Island co-star Helena Ford. The two came face-to-face at the National Television Awards after-party, where they shared a tense conversation, the first time they had spoken since their time in the villa.

Harry is proving he can handle it all, and that life after Love Island doesn’t mean leaving reality behind.
