Aw, MAFS Australia icon announces she’s had a baby and shares her unusual name

Omg, a legendary MAFS Australia 2022 contestant has given birth to her first child, and the baby pictures are so cute.

Domenica Calarco’s baby was born on 28th August. Her full name is Dove Ana Calarco. Nawwww.

Dove was born at 4:49pm, weighed 3.25kg and was 56cm tall. Domenica had the Taylor Swift song The Best Day playing as she was giving birth.

The MAFS Australia legend Lucinda Light congratulated Domenica on the birth of her baby. She wrote: “Beautiful congrats gorgeous.” Elizabeth Day also commented: “Congratulations my darling. Two beauties. I can’t wait to meet her!”

Domenica announced that she was pregnant back in March. She shared on her Instagram story: “I am incredibly excited about this next chapter in my life and feel truly empowered by my decision to step into motherhood on my own terms. “While I will be welcoming this baby as a solo parent, I am grateful to have the support of the father in a co-parenting capacity.”

She’s been very open on social media about her experiences with pregnancy. Domenica wrote on Instagram that “health issues and the added relationship struggles” have made her “hate” pregnancy. She went to hospital twice during her first trimester because her thyroid became inflamed.

Domenica’s MAFS Australia 2022 co-star and former best friend, Ella Ding, also announced her pregnancy in May. Ella and her husband Guy Palermo shared this news through an Instagram advert. Domenica was not impressed with this. Under a post about Ella’s announcement, Domenica commented: “Even has to monetise her pregnancy announcement. Some people will never change. Wow.”

This morning, Domenica shared pictures of her baby sleeping in a crib and with a box of pastries, tagging both the bakery and the clothing brand that made her tee-shirt.
