Millie Bobby Brown, 21, and her husband Jake Bongiovi, 23, have welcomed a baby girl through adoption.
The Stranger Things actress wrote on Instagram: “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this new chapter in both peace and privacy. And then there were three.”
At just 21, Millie is officially a mum and totally thriving. Adoption is such a big move, and she’s not the only celeb to go down that route. Here are eight more who have adopted.
Nicole Kidman
Nicole and her ex-husband Tom Cruise adopted Isabella Jane and Connor Anthony in 1992 and 1995 before she later had two daughters with second husband Keith Urban.
Nicole told Marie Claire Australia: “I would’ve loved 10 kids. I love mothering, I love kids. They’re quirky, funny, and unfiltered. And then you get to see them grow and send them on their way.”
Hugh Jackman
Hugh and Deborra-Lee Furness adopted Oscar Maximilian and Ava Eliot in 2000 and 2003 after struggling to conceive naturally.
Hugh told the Herald Sun: “Deb and I are believers in … I suppose you could call it destiny. We feel things happened the way they are meant to. Obviously, biologically wasn’t the way we were meant to have children.”
Lionel Richie
Lionel adopted Nicole Richie from family friends who were struggling financially and personally. He later formally adopted her, and she went on to star in The Simple Life alongside Paris Hilton.
Angelina Jolie

Angelina adopted Maddox Chivan and Zahara Marley as a solo parent in 2002 and 2005. Brad Pitt later adopted both after they got together. They then adopted Pax Thien in 2007, followed by the birth of twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline.
In Vogue, Angelina said: “I was 26 when I became a mother. My entire life changed. Having children saved me, and taught me to be in this world differently. I think, recently, I would’ve gone under in a much darker way had I not wanted to live for them.”

She told Red Table Talk: “You love by leaning in and hugging and holding and letting them know that you aren’t going anywhere.”
