Details emerge about the exact moment Emilie Kiser’s husband realised their son had drowned

He had a ‘poor feeling as soon as he saw it’

A full police report into what happened to the son of influencer Emilie Kiser when he drowned has been released, and it reveals the apparent moment her husband Brady realised what had happened. Three-year-old Trigg passed away after he drowned in the pool in the family’s back garden.

The incident happened on May 12th, while Emilie Kiser was out with friends. Trigg died in hospital six days later. His dad Brady initially told police he had lost sight of the child for between three and five minutes. However, CCTV footage showed Trigg was outside “unsupervised for more than nine minutes” in total.

In a redacted police report obtained by Us Weekly, Brady told authorities he was inside feeding Trigg and now four-month-old son Teddy while watching an NBA game between the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics. It was indicated Brady placed a bet on the game prior to Trigg’s death, and noted his attention was “divided”.

Trigg then allegedly made his way into the garden, and tripped into the pool after playing with an inflatable chair. Brady was asked to recall the events, and he claimed to have looked outside and saw the dog watching the pool. He is reported to have said he had a “poor feeling as soon as [he] saw it, it was out of the ordinary to see him standing there looking in the water as he was.”

Brady then claimed he “stood up” and “immediately” went outside, where he found his eldest son in the pool. Out of the nine minutes Trigg was outside alone, it’s been reported he was in the pool for approximately seven.

Authorities have claimed Brady’s statements “do not match” what the surveillance video showed, and have alleged he was “not aware” of what Trigg was doing and was “not watching him.”

The police report said: “It is clear from the video that he did not go into the water intentionally, rather, he tripped and fell in while playing with an inflatable chair. [Trigg] was in the backyard from 18:29:42 hours until Brady found him in the pool at 18:39:00 hours. He was in the water from 18:32:15 until 18:39:07.

“It is clear Brady’s attention was divided, and he was not watching [Trigg] at all during the critical times mentioned. During two interviews he did not know what [Trigg] was doing before he fell in and did not see him struggling to swim.”

The report added “the male on scene who let officers inside was extremely distraught” and “stated there was a five minute time gap that he did not know where his son was.”
