A dumped Islander just majorly stuck up for Shakira after she gets Love Island ‘mean girl’ edit

‘From day dot when I came in there, she was so caring – every single night she gave me an outfit’

It’s a rough time to be Shakira Khan in the villa – and I only wish she could have a scroll of Twitter and see how much love she has outside of Love Island when it seems the show and half of her cast members are hellbent in making her look like a mean girl, a villain or a b*tch. We aren’t standing for it! And nor should we, she’s been the glue along with Toni and Yasmin that has held this villa together and made this season have such icons to root for in the hell that has been Harry, Meg, Dejon, Helena and Harrison. And whilst the show plays clips that make her look bad and deny her request to leave the villa when she asked to – thank god that a dumped Islander just stuck up for Shakira and gave more insight into what she’s like in Love Island that the show isn’t necessarily airing for us.

Andrada is standing on business for Ar Shakira!

Speaking in a new interview with Capital, Andrada stuck up for Shakira after the Love Island edit and said “Shakira has been really put out there to be very confrontational or mean girl or whatever, but what people don’t see is that from day dot when I came in there she was so caring. She took care of me. She took me under her wing.

“Every single night she gave me an outfit, her makeup, ‘are you ok’, very checking in. I feel like that’s the side of Shakira we don’t see because we see the side of her that’s very confrontational and standing on business but she has a very, very soft side and she’s very loving.”

The nice message from Andrada is honestly exactly what Shakira needs right now. Bring back the tweets challenge honestly so the villa can see how much love there is for her because I cannot stomach anymore Meg and Dejon propaganda! I can’t do it!
