Debunking whether JoJo Siwa is actually releasing ‘Chris Hughes Eyes’ on streaming

If your TikTok FYP is anything like mine right now, you’ll be well aware of one very touching and slightly sickly tribute JoJo Siwa made for her now fella Chris Hughes during her live shows. After weeks of everyone wondering what the hell was going on with Love Island’s very own Chris Hughes and CEO of Gay Pop JoJo Siwa, the latter confirmed their formerly sibling like relationship was no longer platonic. Whilst you can’t escape the sound on TikTok and the wholesome videos of JoJo Siwa singing it live, there are rumours she’s about to drop it on streaming – so here’s what we know on whether Chris Hughes Eyes is actually coming out!

JoJo Siwa has been performing a cover of one of the best songs of all time on tour, and that of course is Bette Davis Eyes. The original, sang by Kim Carnes in 1981, is one of the defining songs of the 80s. It’s a proper new wave, soft rock pop crossover classic and to be fair to JoJo Siwa her vocal is actually MADE to sing this song. If you listen to the original now and don’t hear JoJo Siwa you must be honestly kidding yourself.

The reason it’s gone so viral with everyone obsessing over the video is because instead of the titular Bette Davis Eyes, JoJo Siwa has been performing it by changing the lyrics to Chris Hughes Eyes. There are then so many wholesome clips of the camera on Chris who is obviously touched and blushing about it all. It would be sweet if it wasn’t such a fever dream.

Is JoJo Siwa releasing Chris Hughes Eyes on streaming? 

Whilst she’s not fully confirmed if she is or not, there are a lot of rumours that JoJo Siwa is indeed dropping the song on streaming services. From the performances it’s obviously been recorded with her vocals, and it’s not like ar Joelle to turn down a money making opportunity.

JoJo has said the one thing she’d save over a Curly Wurly is Chris Hughes’ eyes, and she carries around a picture of it in her pocket. Stay tuned I guess. I unfortunately will be streaming the hell out of it.

But as of right now, JoJo Siwa hasn’t given an official announcement. Let’s just make sure it keeps on going viral and then we can get her dulcet tones singing that banger forever.
