‘Happy’ JoJo Siwa says her ‘heart is overflowing’ after seven day holiday with Chris Hughes

Chris Hughes shared a series of pictures from his recent holiday with JoJo Siwa, and the YouTuber said her “heart is overflowing” in the comments.

The pair jetted off to Mexico after growing close in the Big Brother House earlier this year and spent seven days enjoying the sun to celebrate the 22-year-old’s birthday.

In one picture, JoJo is leaning on Chris’ shoulder in the airport, and another shows them hugging while taking a selfie at Planet Hollywood.

There is also a photo of them hugging while lying on a sofa together, and one of them embracing once again in a restaurant.

“The previous 7 days have been the prettiest.. 😊💫🎂,” Chris wrote in the caption, while JoJo replied: “& happiest:). Heart is overflowing 🤍.”

After people thought they were an item in the Celebrity Big Brother house, the pair confirmed they are just friends during an interview on This Morning.

“Obviously we’re close, obviously we’re tight,” the YouTuber said before Chris butted in: “The thing is our friendship is just a… it’s hard to explain… it’s just a really strong bond between two people, which is just a strong friendship.”

“I think you can have a soulmate friendship, that’s a thing. And to me it’s like that energy of like, where it’s not like the standard friendship that you have with your friends, but it’s still a friendship,” he continued.

“We are friends and just, it’s just nice. That’s why I found it strange, that it’s such a strong friendship. But having someone in there to go through and experience that with, and have someone when you’re emotional, when you’re down, when you’re happy, that is beautiful.”

JoJo insisted it was all “platonic” between them, but didn’t rule out the idea of them getting together in the future, saying: “Life is life. I don’t know any future of anything. But I’m really grateful for our dynamic we have and our bond we have and whatever life does, life will do.”
