New MAFS bride Beth admits she felt threatened by Jamie after her past with Teejay

MAFS Australia has been hit with another bombshell as Jamie slept with new intruder groom Teejay before the show, and Beth has admitted she initially felt a bit threatened by her fellow bride.

“I’ve seen MAFS before and I know that cheating scandals go on and sometimes someone’s a bit more attracted to someone else than their own partner, so I kind of just thought, ‘Oh my god, is this going to be my storyline? Is my husband going to want Jamie?’,” she told Yahoo Lifestyle.

“He just said they were friends but there was still something in the back of my mind that was like, ‘Did they date? Are there feelings there? Is there an attraction there?’. It was just a bit of a whirlwind, but I guess I just had to trust my partner at the time so it kind of just blew over.”

However, she soon realised there was “literally nothing going on” between them and she had no reason to be worried.

“There were no vibes between them,” she continued. “I knew that Jamie obviously was really into Dave, so I found it out and I just let it go. It really didn’t bother me, it didn’t fester at all. There was nothing really to it and it was kind of irrelevant, to be honest.”

Jamie told everyone she had slept with the groom at Beth and Teejay’s wedding, but the whole thing was weirdly cut from the show. When asked why the bombshell was edited out, Beth said it just “wasn’t really a big deal”.

“Jamie came over and told my bridesmaid and my sister but I wasn’t at the table at the time,” she explained.

“And then obviously Teejay knew what she told them and he basically just said to me that they were friends, they’d known each other since they were like 18 I think, and that it was just a drunken fumble that happened. So I kind of just had to take his word for it at the time.”

It doesn’t look like Jamie is going to be an issue for Beth and Teejay, but we’ll have to wait and see if these two actually last.
