MAFS Australia 2025 bride reveals she tried to quit the show but producers forced her to stay
‘I packed my bags that night and tried to leave’
A MAFS Australia 2025 bride has claimed she tried to quit the show during the experiment, but producers forced her to stay. She has said she reached breaking point, but was stopped from leaving.
Jacqui and Ryan have given us drama after drama since entering the experiment. Jacqui has made some shocking claims about their relationship, and Ryan has clapped back and revealed his own truths. Even before what they’ve claimed has been cut, the chaos we’ve seen during the show from them has been a lot.
Now, Jacqui has said at a commitment ceremony she was completely ready to leave, but show producers didn’t want her to. “I packed my bags that night and tried to leave, but was stopped by production,” she said in a video. “They refused to let me leave and said I had to stay as per the rules of the experiment.”

This is because in the ceremony that had just aired, she and Ryan had agreed to stay. But, Jacqui had a change of heart and has claimed she wasn’t allowed to then leave.
Jacqui continued: “They told me Ryan was feeling crushed and it was my chance to make him feel included and accepted as a human. So guess that was my final job. I didn’t see any future with him. I wanted to leave amicably as but no more. Tomorrow I take the date option to meet someone new!!!”.

The date option is a brand new twist for the show, and sees the brides and grooms offered the chance to date someone else. It’s called Temptation Week, and will air in the UK soon. The brides and grooms will be allowed to date someone who the experts thought would be good for them in the initial matching process, but they weren’t ultimately chosen. Juicy!
