Ew, MAFS’ Adrian just shared his biggest icks and there are some shady digs at the cast
‘It’s okay for men to, but women who do that are a massive red flag’
I quite liked Adrian Araouzou in the first few episodes of MAFS Australia season 12, but with every passing moment, he’s quickly unseating Eliot Donovan as the show’s biggest red flag.
Adrian got off to a strong start but we should have guessed he was going to go the other way by his reaction to Awhina Rutene being a mum. Spoilers for the rest of the season and scathing Twitter posts suggest it’s only going to get worse as the weeks roll on.
It’s yet to be seen whether Adrian and Awhina are endgame, and I don’t want to jinx it by suggesting they break up, but here are Adrian’s biggest icks for any ladies looking to slide into his DMs in the future – but please don’t.
What is Adrian from MAFS’ biggest icks?

Adrian and his twin brother James, who may or may not be dating former MAFS bride Eden, now have their own TikTok account where they post twin shenanigans and very shady videos about Adrian’s castmates. In a video posted in February, Adrian and James were sitting in their car while listing some of the biggest icks they have.
Starting small, the worst twins on the planet since the little girls from The Shining said chipped nails are a massive ick. I can somewhat understand this one, and because ick lists have been common on the internet for years now, we’ve definitely heard worse. Don’t worry though, they followed the chipped nails with receptionists being a huge ick.
Chiming in, James said that “women following more than 20 men” and his brother seemingly agreed. They said brothers, fathers, and maybe cousins should be followed but they draw the line at women following more than a “few” male friends.

“Women whose names start with A,” Adrian added, the irony seemingly lost on him because his name also starts with an A. It’s not confirmed but this definitely seemed like a dig at Awhina.
“Women that go on reality TV shows,” James said, as Adrian replied, “It’s okay for men to, but women who do that are a massive red flag.”
They also had a problem with women wearing trainers and women who write ick lists like Jamie Marinos did in the earlier episodes. All of their ick list inclusions could very well have been satire, but both James and Adrian from MAFS have the comedy skills of a wet blanket so it’s not clear.
There also weren’t any subtitles like on the show so I was struggling.
