Here’s how pricey all of Lauren Hall’s non-bogan jewellery and clothes on MAFS Aus really are
Er, it was $1,200 pearls that gave Eliot the ick?
The MAFS Australia bride Lauren Hall has rather a lot of opinions on how all the brides should behave if they want to be viewed as “classy” and not “trashy” or “bogans”. Since she seems to be so particular about clothes and jewellery, here’s an investigation into how much Lauren’s fits on MAFS Australia really cost.
Lauren and her sister Tamara were feuding over £500 earrings

So, Lauren wanted her and her bridesmaids to all wear matching earrings for her big day. This meant her sister Tamara couldn’t wear her first choice of earrings. This all somehow escalated into a massive row. Tamara claimed Lauren had been “horrendous” and “100 per cent bridezilla” in the run-up to her wedding. Lauren through Tamara was unreasonable for wanting to wear “giant Chanel earrings”. Lauren initially denied owning any giant earrings like this, then admitted she did own around 50 pairs of earrings, but they were only “little” and “studs”. Erm, okay.
Studs from Chanel generally cost between £500 and £600 depending on whether they’re gold or silver, and how many diamantés are in them. Some studs with real diamonds in can fetch a truly eye-watering $21,000 AUD (£10,300). I can rather see why Tamara wanted to get her money’s worth and wear them. I’m guessing she doesn’t really own 50 pairs, because then she’d have at least £25,000 of Chanel earrings sitting around at home?

For her wedding to Eliot, it looks like Lauren was wearing the Pia dress and pearl headband from Made With Love, which cost £2,260.00 and £250.00. This is definitely at the upper end of what MAFS brides spend usually spend on their fits, but isn’t unheard of. The MAFS UK 2024 brides generally spent somewhere between £1,000 and £2,000 on their dresses. So Lauren’s clothes aren’t actually leagues fanicer than all the other MAFS brides she called “trashy” and “boganic”.
Did Eliot get the ick from $1,200 earrings?!

No clue why she keeps bags of designer earrings on the kitchen counter, but each to their own

The morning after Lauren’s wedding to Eliot, we saw her get excited that she could wear her new pearl earrings. Eliot proceeded to rant at the camera about how he didn’t like women who were into luxuries or fashion or eating at nice restaurants.
Lauren’s earrings appear to be from Tiffany & Co. The signature pearl earring studs on the Australian Tiffany & Co website are a harrowing $1,200 AUD (£588). The site also sells cheaper pearl earrings studs for $635 AUD (£311), which seems like a bargain in comparison.
You’d think extremely expensive designer pearl earrings would fit Eliot’s requirements of a “classy” and “feminine” woman, but apparently not.
