New FBI report reveals Brian’s concerning behaviour two weeks before Gabby Petito’s death

A witness saw him acting like a ‘lunatic’

Gabby Petito’s tragic murder took over the world in August 2021, and it’s done so once again after the new American Murder Netflix documentary.

The three-part docuseries covers the entire story, from Gabby’s Long Island upbringing to her tragic death and the hunt for Brian Laundrie after her body was found.

All kinds of new information is now coming out that has never been seen before, including alarming unseen texts shared by the 22-year-old’s parents.

The FBI has also released a never-seen-before report from a witness who saw Brian “slapping” Gabby in Moab, Utah. This is not the same person who called 911.

In the report obtained by E! News, the witness claimed he and his family drove past Gabby and Brian and saw him hitting her.

They then parked on the other side of the road to secretly watch the incident unfold and make sure that she was okay.

“During the time [the witness] and his family were observing the couple, the male ‘acted like a lunatic,’ sporadically opening and slamming doors and pacing around the van,” it says.

The witness added that Brian seemed to be “pleading” with Gabby and tried to hug her before she pushed him away.

“The male ultimately pushed the female’s legs into the passenger side of the van, closed her door, and entered the driver’s side of the vehicle,” the report continues.

“The male subsequently put his head between his hands and both passengers appeared to be crying.”

The FBI report clearly states that this witness did not call law enforcement, but the American Murder Netflix documentary mentions that police received a call from someone else.

After that, officers tracked down Gabby and Brian’s van and stopped them, but decided that she was the “aggressor” and he was the “victim” as she admitted to hitting him first.

They booked Brian a hotel and told them to spend the night apart, and the police officer involved later spoke out after her murder about what he would have done differently.
