People have worked out the ‘real reason’ so many Islanders are quitting All Stars
Three people have walked out now
Three people have quit this season of Love Island All Stars now, and people think they’ve worked out the reason.
First, Scott Thomas walked out as he felt like something was missing with Tina, then Ron quit because he didn’t have a romantic connection.
Lucinda was also in South Africa waiting to go in the villa as a bombshell but decided to jump on a plane back to England at the final second.
So, why are so many people leaving?! Well, people think the issue is that they’re all friends already, which means they don’t fancy each other.
Most of the Islanders are mates at home or at least know of each other, so they’re not attracted to each other romantically.
Plus, they already know way too much about each other’s dating history and what they have been up to in the real world.
When you’ve already heard all the dirt on someone, it makes things a lot more difficult. Kaz was quick to point out what she’d heard about Casey!
It’s a lot easier to find a connection with someone you’ve never met before and don’t know anything about, which is why the normal Love Island works so well.
I know there a still two couples from last year still together, but this is the problem with having a cast where 90% of them already know each other… if there was a genuine connection, they’d have found it with each other on the outside.

The whole show is about chatting to people and finding a partner, so it must get pretty boring in there if you don’t have that.
After deciding to leave, Scott told Luca: “‘I just wanted to let you know first. I can’t force connections and I feel like I’ve come here and done everything I wanted to do. I just have to be true to myself.’
Ron said a very similar thing, telling the boys his time was “done” because he wasn’t enjoying not having a connection with everyone and wanted to leave on a “happy note”.
Lucinda also said it’s “not her season,” hinting that she already knew she wouldn’t fancy anyone in the villa before even going in.
