Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips and her baby involved in car crash with double-decker bus
Her one-year-old daughter was in the passenger seat
Former Love Island hopeful Shaughna Phillips crashed her car into a double-decker bus this weekend, posting pictures of the damage online while calling for people to “always” wear their seatbelts.
Shaughna rose to fame on season six of Love Island in 2020 alongside the likes of Paige Turley, Luke Mabbott, and Luke Trotman, largely remaining with Callum Jones before being dumped on day 33.
Callum and Shaughna did not remain together on the outside, with her going on to have a baby with jailed drug dealer Billy Webb who was released from his nine-year sentence last year after just 12 months. Their daughter Lucia was also involved in Saturday’s crash.
Shaughna Phillips was involved in a car crash in London
On Saturday night, Shaughna Phillips and one-year-old daughter Lucia were driving around London when they collided with a double-decker bus. Luckily, neither baby nor mum were injured in the crash besides being a “bit sore.”
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Shaughna shared images from the crash that showed the windscreen of the double-decker bus cracked and shattered in places. The front panel of the bus was also hanging off from the impact.
Captioning the post, she wrote: “Was involved in a minor crash last night with a bus. It could have been so much worse, and with Lucia in the car which was the scariest part! A bit sore today but I’ll take that any day. Always wear your seatbelts.”
No one from the bus has spoken out, so presumably they were all okay, and Shaughna has gone right back to her usual programming following the collision. That means marketing her Shred-It Plan business and talking about health and nutrition with her followers.
