Screw the couples, these ranked Love Island bromances are the crowning achievement of the show
They should rename the show to Bro Island (ew)
The whole point of Love Island is to find love, and yet, I can’t help but feel that these six bromances are more stable than even the most smitten Islander couples.
We’ve had some great friendships in Love Island over the years, from Maura Higgins and Molle-Mae to Olivia Attwood and Amber Davies. But bromances are different, they are the friendships that seem to get considerably more air time than the traditional relationships. There have been a range of dynamic duos over the years, but these six are undoubtedly the most popular.
6. Curtis Pritchard and Tommy Furry
If I’m being completely honest, I never really bought into this one. It seemed forced and fake, with the producers shunting them together because their respective girlfriends were close. I’m not the only one who thinks that either.
On Reddit, one person explained: “As far as I know Tommy and Curtis aren’t close anymore so that settles it. I don’t think their relationship was fake exactly. I just think they’re two people who would never be close friends if they weren’t stuck in a villa around each other 24/7.”
5. Tom Clare and Casey O’Gorman
This bromance was more Joker and Harley Quinn than Batman and Robin, but there was no denying their genuine affection for one another. They are also still friends and you could easily mistake them for a real couple due to the amount they feature on one another’s socials.
4. Alex George and Jack Fincham
Most Read
I struggle to remember if Alex George was even in a relationship on Love Island season four because he spent most of his time hanging around Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer. Alex and Jack’s friendship seemed genuine, and it’s always handy to have a doctor in the family.
3. Wes Nelson, Josh Denzel, and Jack Fowler
Wes, Josh, and Jack were the ultimate support system in Love Island, sharing secrets and coming up with genius code words to share what they were really thinking. Obviously, they then launched the infamous Do Bits Society.
2. Luke Trotman and Luke Mabbott
The Lukes are my favourite Love Island bromance of all time, and they would be in the top spot if it wasn’t for a certain duo and their hilarious antics. The men featured on season six of Love Island and brought an energy to the villa that it was severely lacking.
1. Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay
Chris and Kem were THE original Love Island bromance, so it would be simply rude not to have them in the top spot. Their friendship even sparked spin-offs like Chris & Kem Straight Outta Love Island, You vs. Chris & Kem, and the cheesy single Little Bit Leave It.
After the show, they were pegged as the new and improved Ant and Dec, but sadly, the two seem to have gone their separate ways over the last few years. Hopefully, they both appear on next season’s All Stars for more chaos.
