Jessica Alba’s unsolved 1996 kidnapping resurfaces as she was found tied up and blindfolded

She was discovered gagged and blindfolded in the boot of an abandoned car

I swear I find out something new about huge Hollywood celebrities every week and this time around it’s that Jessica Alba was actually kidnapped when she was younger?!

The terrifying story was recently shared on Twitter, with many users having never heard of her kidnapping story, so what exactly happened when Jessica Alba was terrifyingly kidnapped in 1996?

When Jessica was 15 she was abducted whilst filming scenes for Flipper, a dolphin themed TV show which was being filmed in Australia. She mysteriously vanished with none of the cast or crew being able to locate her on set, with a more widespread search soon starting.

Her family and the rest of the production team started searching around the surrounding areas for over 14 hours until she was eventually found blindfolded, gagged and bound in the boot of an abandoned car. She was miles away from set and even more eerily, the culprit behind the kidnapping was never found.

Despite an official investigation being launched into how Jessica Alba managed to get kidnapped, there were no leads or eyewitnesses so the trail went cold.

Her family and the production team embarked on a frantic search, which lasted for 14 hours, until she was discovered in the vehicle miles away from the set, reportedly unharmed. Although an investigation was launched, there were no leads or eyewitnesses to follow up on and the case was ultimately dropped.

Apparently the actress has been receiving some very disturbing phone calls in the days and weeks before the kidnapping, which may have been from the person who kidnapped her.

However, all is not as it seems, in a 2005 interview with Complex, Jessica Alba completely denied claims she was kidnapped whilst filming Flipper.

She was asked: “According to the Internet, while you were filming the remake of Flipper you were kidnapped! Is that accurate?” She responded: “No.”

When the interviewer questioned: “You were never kidnapped?” She answered: “No.”

So basically this whole thing has just been completely made up, great stuff.
