The battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni began with rumours of the drama on the It Ends With Us set, but has now upscaled into a full-blown lawsuit. Blake and Justin’s hefty claims about each other have taken centre stage, but Colleen Hoover has had her say on things too. The author behind It Ends With Us originally posted a statement in support of Blake Lively’s lawsuit, however as of yesterday Colleen Hoover’s Instagram page has completely disappeared without a trace.

Why did Colleen Hoover deactivate her Instagram?

It’s unclear whether Colleen Hoover has deactivated or fully deleted her social media account. People reported that she is “stepping back from social media amid the ongoing legal drama between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.”

Colleen Hoover had posted an Instagram story and post regarding the lawsuits. In the post, Colleen shared an image of herself and Blake hugging and captioned it: “I thought the note was beautiful.”

Within the lengthy caption, she wrote how she “wanted to show support but I had anxiety thinking of putting my post about Blake in my feed and sending myself into a mental spiral from the inevitable comments”.

Colleen admitted she had “pulled back” her online presence to “save her sanity”. However, she did say the support for Blake online had “inspired” her to stand up for herself.

In the post, which had been liked by Blake Lively on Instagram (but now removed along with the rest of her Instagram account), she wrote: “This statement from these women and Blake’s ability to refuse to sit down and ‘be buried’ has been nothing short of inspiring. Seeing these three women stand up for their friend when they know good and well they’re going to be ripped apart by the people who choose to not accept or read receipts is inspiring. I am done being afraid to post in fear of the comment section hurting my reputation.”
