Omg, Luca Bish outright lied about his dating history in last night’s Love Island All Stars

Reddit sleuths caught Luca Bish in an obvious lie during Tuesday night’s instalment of Love Island All Stars after he claimed that he’d never dated a blonde woman before.

As always, Luca is the marmite of the Love Island universe, someone people hate him, and others can’t get past those baby blue eyes and cheekbones. During Tuesday night’s episode of Love Island, Luca claimed that he had never dated a blonde before so he must have forgotten his brief fling with Strictly Come Dancing’s Saffron Barker. To make matters worse, back in season eight, he admitted to gravitating towards blonde women – so which is it, Luca?

Reacting to the moment on Reddit, one person wrote: “Not people saying he didn’t lie because ‘she dyes her hair’ and it isn’t natural. As if he meant that. She’s been blonde since she was like 13 he probably doesn’t even know what her natural hair is like.”

“Why are we surprised when Islanders say something that stretches the truth,” another admitted, as a third added, “It isn’t but it’s still a weird thing to say, like not like brunettes and blondes are two categories of human or have different cultures. So if you’ve experienced blonde hair you’ve been with a blonde but yeah Luca often says things and nobody understands why so it’s not that weird.”

Before he joined the Love Island cast in 2022, Luca admitted to dating Saffron Barker the previous year after initially meeting through friends. The fling only lasted a few months.

“We used to go to the same school in Brighton. I think she had just come out of a relationship. And then yeah, that was it. We just kind of hit the ground running a bit. We still remain really good mates,” he told Metro.

Meanwhile, while appearing on Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks’ Staying Relevant podcast, Saffron danced around calling a relationship and eventually settled on “seeing” each other.

“To be fair, he wasn’t fully my ex. I was kind of just seeing him for a long time,” she said, and when Pete suggested it was friends with benefits, she replied, “No, we weren’t friends with benefits, but we didn’t quite get in a relationship.”
