Heartbreaking real reason Danya wanted to keep pregnancy a secret from Dubai Bling co-stars

Throughout season three of Dubai Bling, Danya and her husband DJ Bliss kept their pregnancy a secret from most of their co-stars, although some major friction was caused when Ebraheem told everyone else she was pregnant.

Despite Danya telling Ebraheem multiple times to please not tell any of their co-stars about her pregnancy, he still proceeded to during the show.

And now, Danya has opened up about the heartbreaking reason she didn’t want any of her co-stars to know about her pregnancy whilst they were filming.

Speaking to Metro, Danya revealed she suffered from a condition called Hyperemesis gravidarum, which leads to nausea, vomiting, weight loss, faintness and dehydration.

She explained how badly the condition affected her whilst filming, saying: “I was filming and I wasn’t feeling well, and I couldn’t tell anyone I was pregnant.”

Danya explained how her co-stars thought she was being shady by not attending certain events whilst filming for season three of Dubai Bling was taking place, but it was just as a result of her pregnancy.

The illness started before she even knew she was pregnant, with Danya mistakenly thinking she was suffering from “blood poisoning.”

She told Harper’s Bazaar more about the impact it had on her, revealing: “I was in an emergency every single week. They knew me by name. I lost six kilograms. The crazy thing is, you don’t look pregnant – you’re just a few weeks along, but you’re so sick.

“I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I’m lucky. I just had it until I was five months pregnant.”

Danya and Ebraheem’s friendship is certain to be impacted by his decision to reveal their pregnancy during season three, but it looks like we’ll have to wait until the next season of Dubai Bling to see the full fallout of his actions.
