Who’s the richest actor in Squid Game 2? All their mahoosive net worths ranked
At least we won’t see the cast in a Squid Game-style competition
I’m not saying that their combined net worths could have amounted to anywhere near the Squid Game prize money, but the various actors of the Netflix show are packing some serious financial heat.
Squid Game offers its players the chance to win ₩45.6 billion, which works out as roughly ₩100 million for each person who meets a grisly bullet-ridden end. That is about $31 million, which admittedly is slightly less impressive.
Thankfully, we’ll never see the Squid Game cast in a similar game because their net worths are ridiculously high and set to grow more following the show’s success. It’s worth noting that not all of their net worths were readily available, but let’s take a look and don’t be jelly!
8. Im Si-wan (Lee Myung-gi) – around $3 million
Before he ever appeared as the annoying cryptocurrency addict in Squid Game season two, Im Si-wan was working in the music industry as part of the boyband ZE:A. As such, reports suggest his net worth is somewhere between $1 million and $3 million.
7. Wi Ha-joon (Hwang Jun-ho) – $3 million
Hwang Jun-ho has been a standout character in both season one and two of the Netflix show, and after appearing in other projects such as Romance is a Bonus Book and Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum, he has an estimated net worth of $3 million. That’s more than enough to pay for our dates!
6. Park Sung-hoon (Hyun-ju) – $3 million
Most Read
Park Sung-hoon made history as the show’s first trans character, but long before he ever slipped on that c**ty black bob, he was making bank in huge shows such as Queen of Tears, The Glory, and Psychopath Diary. He has an estimated worth of $3 million.
5. Park Gyu-young (No-eul) – $5 million
In season two of Squid Game we were introduced to one of the first-named shooters, No-eul, with her story set to continue in this year’s season three. Gyu-young is a mainstay in some of the biggest K-dramas, but she reportedly acquired most of her $5 million wealth in Netflix’s terrifying monster show, Sweet Home.
4. T.O.P – $12 million
Though some places do report that Choi Seung-hyun is worth a whopping $44 million, most list his net worth at around $12 million. This is largely down to his former work as the lead rapper of BigBang.
3. Lee Jung-jae (Seong Gi-hun) – $12 million
As the main character, I’m betting that Lee Jung-jae’s net worth will climb considerably in the years to come. Not that it’s particularly low now at a cushy $12 million. Outside of Squid Game, he has featured in Star Wars project The Acolyte, and Hunt, New World, and The Housemaid to name but a few.
2. Gong Yoo (The Recruiter) – $14 million
Though the captivating Gong Yoo has surely acquired some of his wealth from Squid Game and other projects such as Train to Busan – arguably the best zombie film of all time – Lifestyle Asia alleges that most of his $14 million net worth comes from fashion endorsements, commercials, real estate, and being the face of Kia.
1. Lee Byung-hun (Hwang In-Ho/The Front Man) – $20 million
Mr Cheekbones himself Lee Byung-hun is reported to have a staggering net worth of $20 million, which is not surprising when you look at his solid bank of acting work. He earlier appeared in flicks such as the G.I. Joe films, Terminator Genisys and Korean projects such as A Bittersweet Life and I Saw the Devil.
