He beat Mike Tyson, so who is Jake Paul going to fight next? The list looks brutal
Jake’s dreaming big for his next fight
Jake Paul won against retired professional boxer Mike Tyson last Friday in a huge fight that was live-streamed on Netflix. After a mandatory suspension, Jake is excited to crack on with his next fight which he’s hoping will happen in early 2025. But who will Jake Paul fight next? He told Netflix at the press concert he could have “anyone I want,” but he’s named a few contenders so far. Here’s a rundown of who he could be stepping in the ring with next.
Conor McGregor
Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170lbs. That’s never happening. But let’s run it in MMA. No weight class. Just like how it used to be done. But you won’t

Jake Paul called out Conor McGregor on Twitter following his win against Mike Tyson. In a tweet, he wrote: “Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170lbs. That’s never happening. But let’s run it in MMA. No weight class. Just like how it used to be done. But you won’t.”
Unfortunately for Jake, Conor had a pretty hilarious reply. He told Jake “Nakisa already rang me lad, it’s this guy next for you. Good luck pal,” and attached a photo of 82 year old US Senator Mitch McConnell. Guess that fight’s off the table then.
Canelo Álvarez
Jake Paul is desperate to fight super-middleweight champion Canelo Álvarez, but it’s not looking good for him. Jake Paul told the Daily Mail: “That’s the move, right? That’s what everyone wants to see I think. I want a bigger challenge.”
He continued: “Canelo needs me, so I’m not even going to try and call him out. He’s going to want a payday and I want to show the world all the [stuff] I’ve been talking about beating Canelo is true and I’ll have the biggest upset in the history of boxing.” What a statement.
Carl Froch

Former professional boxer Carl Froch is no stranger to calling people out on his podcast these days, but he had a lot to say to Jake Paul.
“I will tie one arm behind my back and finish you for good,” he boasted on his podcast over the weekend.
However, Jake doesn’t seem enticed by the offer. “F***ing sour loser. Shut the f***up. I’ve done more in four years than you have in your life. First and last time I respond to your broke salty a**. Let me know if you want to wash my cars.” he wrote.
Fucking sour loser. Shut the fuck up. Ive done more in 4 years than you have in your life. First and last time I respond to your broke salty ass. Let me know if you want to wash my cars

KSI
Surely not KSI! It’s been over a year since KSI took on and lost against Tommy Fury by unanimous decision. He actually knocked Tommy down, and Tommy took illegal shots to the back of his head, so KSI labelled his loss a “robbery.” He must be desperate to get back in the ring and prove what he’s got.
He hasn’t said anything about Jake’s win over Mike Tyson, but did write ahead of the fight: “Jake Paul will knock out Mike Tyson. This will not be close at all. Boxing is a young man’s game and Mike is 58 years old. They’re sending a lamb to the slaughter and it’s disgusting.”
He beat Jake’s brother Logan in 2019, but fighting him would hardly boost Jake Paul’s credentials any further. He’ll probably want to set his sights higher than KSI.
Francis Ngannou
Next time I see this @jakepaul guy I'm gonna give him 2 or 3 slaps 😬😬
— Francis Ngannou (@francis_ngannou) November 16, 2024
Francis Ngannou is a former UFC heavyweight champion who vowed to get revenge on Mike Tyson’s behalf. He started on Jake on X, telling him “next time I see this @jakepaul guy I’m gonna give him two or three slaps.”
Francis recently lost to Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, so he might be looking to secure a win.
Tommy Fury… again
If you remember, Jake Paul previously lost a match with Tommy Fury in February 2023. There would be nothing sweeter for him than to get revenge, now that he’s beaten Mike Tyson. Tommy is the only boxer to win against Jake.
Tommy previously described fighting YouTubers as “horrible and messy” compared with conventional boxing, so it doesn’t look like he’d be down to take on Jake again.
