New jobs and Channel 4 rows: What the rogue MAFS UK 2023 cast members are up to now
I’d forgotten half of these people even existed
With MAFS UK 2024 now being on, it means it’s been an entire year since we were introduced to the 2023 cast members. Some, albeit very few, of the cast members found love and got what they wanted out of the experiment, whilst most just saw the show out to the end and then took their Instagram follower boost and left. Fair enough, really.
But now, I’m starting to look back at the 2023 series and really thinking fondly about how good of a season it was. We really had so much drama to keep us fed every week. Dinner party arguments, cheating scandals, and people quitting all over the place.
As well as the big names who we will remember forever, MAFS UK 2023 introduced us to some pretty rogue characters, who up until now you might have forgotten even took part in the experiment. They often get overlooked now the show is over, so here’s a catchup with those lesser known names.
Adrienne
Most Read
Adrienne was a late arrival to the show and was paired with Matt. Despite their best efforts, it didn’t work out, but now Matt is happily in a relationship with Shona from the experiment, so maybe that’s how it was always meant to be?
Not long after the show, Adrienne announced she had landed a “dream come true” brand deal with cosmetics brand, BPerfect Cosmetics. Announcing she’s the makeup brand’s newest ambassador, she said as a makeup artist “BPerfect was always a staple in my client kit.”
She’s now living in Liverpool, and can add Protein Works to list of brands she works with. She does a lot of branded content on Instagram, and is still besties with MAFS co-star, Erica.
Sean
Sean and Mark ending things seemed to come quite abruptly during MAFS UK 2023. One minute they were a fairly quiet couple, in the background not getting involved in much of the drama, and next they were arguing and leaving the whole show. The two late arrivals left the experiment when Mark said he felt they were better off as friends.
As of now, Sean seems to have put the experiment behind him. He lives up north, and goes to lots of events, and is still very much close friends with Jay and Tasha.
Mark
Mark had some pretty harsh words to say about the experiment once it was over. He said MAFS left him “unemployed and single” and added he “felt like I was mis-sold this dream that it would work and I would say goodbye to my normal life.” Following this, Channel 4 clapped back and said “the series should not be seen as a vehicle to gain fame or celebrity and warn against unrealistic expectations of this nature.”
Despite this, Mark has now got a manager since being on the show, and splits his time between Essex and London. He seems very open to TV opportunities and is always living it up at swanky restaurants and press events. He’s even done some branded work with Domino’s!
Bianca
It feels wrong to call Bianca a rogue cast member, because at the time of MAFS 2023 she was a queen. But on reflection, her story was very random, short and not-s0 sweet. It still makes me sad thinking about how she was forced to leave the show when it was revealed JJ had been exploring a connection with Ella. Bianca bowed out with her head held high, and has since been thriving.
Before the show, Bianca worked as a hair specialist, and it looks as though she’s back working at her hair extensions business. She attends a lot of influencer events and cares a lot about fitness. She ran a half marathon this year, and has taken up cycling.
Nathanial
Nathanial also had to leave the show following the Ella and JJ cheating scandal. He’s spent a lot of time since speaking his truths about the experiment, which he branded a “complete sham”. In an interview, Nathanial claimed the cast were fed “scripted lines” by a team working on the show, and said Ella was turned into “a monster” by production.
According to his Instagram, Nathanial is now a model working under a management, and is living a bit of an influencer life, as an ambassador for FashionNova’s men’s section. He also runs a luxury concierge and experience brand, based in Mykonos.
Porscha
Porscha and Terence were another couple to call it quits early on. Terence voted to “leave” the marriage, whilst Porscha opted to “stay” and work on their relationship. As per the show’s rules, when one person in a couple votes stay, they have to stay together. But, Terence was having none of it and quit the experiment completely.
Porsha has since deleted any evidence she was anything to do with MAFS from her Instagram profile, and now seems to always be on holiday with her son. She also has a YouTube channel where she does bible readings for her subscribers.
Terence
Straight after MAFS UK 2023, Terence returned to life as a DJ, and he is still clearly very much still friends with his fellow MAFS UK cast members. He also works in events and hosting, and appears to be single since the show.
