It Ends With Us finally dropped in cinemas on Friday, after loyal fans waited patiently following the delay in release date. With an A-List cast including Justin Baldoni, Blake Lively and my new man crush, Brandon Sklenar, it was literally two straight hours of watching gorgeous faces on the big screen. The eagle eyed fans among us will have recognised some familiar faces hidden in the film, but if you didn’t, here’s a rundown of all the weird celebrity cameos in It Ends With Us.

Erm, the author of the It Ends With Us book series actually cameoed in the movie in a sneaky little shot or two. In the scene where Lily attends Alyssa’s party, Colleen Hoover can be seen chatting behind her, and even gets a full screen appearance at one point.

Fans think they may have also spotted her in other points in the film, coming out of Lily Bloom’s flower shop – we’ll wait for a second viewing to confirm that one though.

On her appearance in the movie, Colleen explained how acting was completely different to writing. She told E! News: “I love knowing a little bit behind the scenes.

“But 12 hours of just reshooting that scene, I don’t know how actors do it. After doing one day of pretending to act — it’s one of the hardest jobs in the world.”

Justin Baldoni’s wife, Emily was another one of the celebrity cameos in It Ends With Us that a lot of people missed. Although Emily is a Swedish actress, it was a surprise that she featured in the film as Lily’s nurse who gives her an ultrasound and reveals to her the gender of her baby.

Some people might say it would have been weird for Emily to play a role in the film which saw her husband kiss Blake Lively in a number of scenes, as well as them getting pretty steamy together in an equal amount more. Maybe that’s even why she got a role in the movie? But hey, they’re all professionals. Or at least they were, before all the drama went down.

With Blake being so big on family, it’s not surprising that her sister, Robyn Lively, featured in the film in a small way. Back at the start of the film, we see Lily return to Plethora, Maine, for her dad’s funeral but she can’t get the words out whilst standing at the front of the service. As she walks through the room to leave, we see the crowd of friends and family members watch her go, including Robyn Lively, who is credited on IMDb as Ms. Byland.

This is arguably one of the more understandable It Ends With us celebrity cameos, with Robyn starring in Teen Witch and Cobra Kai, so she’s got a fair bit of experience under her belt. Blake also mentioned to Brit + Co that moments with her family are “all over” the movie.

She said: “I took the relationships with my mother and my sisters, or my children, and my feelings and I mean, it’s all over this film.

“Moments we’ve had together, things we’ve said to each other. And I think that’s why I feel so proud and it, and it’s so personal me.”
