The best Russell Group uni campuses you can study at, according to students themselves
Guarantee you still won’t be able to get a seat in the library at any of them
Your uni might be one of the best in the country for research, sustainability or any other random factor they like to brag about being the 81st best in the world for, but what’s the campus actually like to be at? You’re living there for your first year and spending a hell of a lot of time there for three years, so you gotta hope that you pick one of the better ones. Minus points for ugly concrete eyesores x
Well, StudentCrowd has just released its “Best UK Universities League Table 2024” all based on student reviews made on its website. According to the ranking, UCAS research shows that “online reviews by students” are the second most important resource for students picking which university they want to go to. StudentCrowd is also the only uni review platform to require a verified ac.uk uni email address so you know that all the ratings are legit.
And as part of its ranking there is also a section for the best uni campus and facilities where each uni is ranked based on what students think of their campuses and all the facilities available to them including lecture halls, libraries and social spaces.
Of the top 20 unis ranked, 11 of these are Russell Group unis. At the bottom of the ranking at number 17 is Southampton where students mentioned the clean and spacious lecture halls and the fact that the library is open 24 hours. Closely following Southampton is Liverpool at 16th and Newcastle at 14th.
