These Married at First Sight UK couples all proved the experiment really does work

There are more couples who stayed together than you may think

With the new season of Married at First Sight UK 2023 fast approaching, it’s time to take a trip down memory lane and see just how successful the experiment really is. It’s no secret it has worked for a lot of the Australian and US cast members, but what about those across the pond?

MAFS UK has been going on since 2015 and the show only recently adapted to the Australian format, and there have been some success stories along the way. So while you’re desperately waiting to see what the upcoming season has in store, here is a look at all the MAFS UK couples who are still together.

Tayah and Adam

Tayah and Adam met on Married at First Sight UK in 2021 and won the hearts of the nation after they went from strength to strength each week. Despite some learning curves along the way, Tayah and Adam decided to stick with their relationship after the final vows and are now parents!

The couple are still engaged after Adam’s proposal at the end of the series after having to postpone their wedding.

“We’ve pushed it back to next year. We were going to get married on the date that both our parents got married so we were going to keep that tradition going,” Adam told OK!.

In even more wholesome news, Tayah and Adam welcomed their first child together in October 2022. In a sweet post announcing their new arrival, Tayah wrote: “7th October, the day our lives completely changed.”

“Introducing you all to our precious girl, Beau Emily Aveling, we are completely besotted, she is perfect in every single way. To my Adam, I didn’t think I could love you even more but seeing you with our daughter completely fills my heart.

“Just want to say a massive thank you to Doncaster hospital, for going above and beyond to reassure me and to the amazing lady who stayed after her shift had finished to deliver our girl. Welcome to the world our darling Beau.”

Zoe and Jenna

Zoe and Jenna were matched by the experts on the last season of MAFS UK and they recently celebrated one year of being together.

In a gushing post about Jenna, she said it had been the best year of her life, thanking the experts and MAFS UK for allowing her to meet her match.

“It’s probably been the best year of my life and I feel very thankful that I gave into my sister moaning and sent the application in,” Zoe wrote.

Michelle and Owen

Before the format of MAFS UK changed, viewers met Michelle and Owen. The couple met after being matched on the show during its fifth season and are still together to this day.

They even have a joint Instagram called Owen and Michelle MAFS, dedicated to updating followers on their life together. How wholesome!
