Katie SullivanThis is not a drill. A Shrek-themed rave is coming to York this April. The club night has been on a tour of the UK and will be held at Kuda in York on the 29th April.
Shrek Rave originated in the US and is touring the UK this year and will visit York, London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Leeds and a host of other cities across the UK for the duration of 2023.
The event will include singalongs, giveaways, themed drinks and even a prize for the person with the best Shrek-related costume. Get your donkey ears at the ready!
Those who have already attended probably one of the most hilarious club nights I have ever heard of have reported on a drink called “Swamp Water”. According to Shrek Ravers, it is apparently murky green and contains apple Sourz, melon Sourz, tequila and Sprite. Sounds lethal.
First-release tickets have sold out but you can buy second-release tickets on the Shrek Rave website for £12.50 each or a group ticket for five people for £50. Alexa play All Star by Smash Mouth.
