Marissa from Love Is Blind tried to get Ramses back after the show but it was a ‘hard no’

The dramatic end to Love Is Blind left us with just two couples making it to the altar, meaning we said goodbye to Marissa and Ramses. Their breakup was a really painful watch with Ramses being the one to get cold feet right before the wedding. They may not have gotten married on the show, but Marissa shared with Glamour that it wasn’t quite the end of the line, and more went down with Ramses after Love Is Blind was done filming.

What happened between them after the Love Is Blind finished filming?

When asked if she had seen Ramses after Love Is Blind had wrapped, Marissa revealed they “saw each other a few times” after their breakup.

“I saw him when I was in DC, and there was one time where we talked one day for like, eight and a half, nine hours on the phone, and I thought we were gonna get back together after that,” she explained.

However, it wasn’t meant to be, and Ramses gave a “hard no” on trying again. Months after their breakup was filmed, she asked him if “he wanted to get back together,” and he said “nah.” After that, she “stopped communication” with him, but was “not ashamed” of asking him.

“I took the breakup really hard, as you can imagine from the scene of me crying and stuff. It took me probably six months to get back on track and to really start to move on,” she told Glamour.

What will happen at the Love Is Blind reunion?

Speaking before the reunion had been filmed, Marissa said she thought it would be “very difficult” to see him again but was confident she would be able to handle it.

“I think it will be emotional, because I still have a lot of love for him. I don’t think he has a lot of maliciousness in him. I just think he is flawed and has a lot of stuff he needs to work through and he refuses to go to therapy,” she said. “Until he does, he’s not going to become as self-aware as he needs to be to truly grow.”
