Charlie Curtis had her (televised if not legally binding) wedding to the fitness instructor Eve on Tuesday’s episode of MAFS UK. The couple seemed super cute together, and even made out at their wedding reception instead of awkwardly making smalltalk with each other’s parents, like most MAFS couples seem to do. However, the preview of their honeymoon suggested that massive drama is just around the corner.

Charlie tried to be an actress

Charlie was a full-on theatre kid. One of her Instagram posts mentions that she used to go to a drama school and has done lots of dance training.

She has been in productions of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Whistle Down the Wind.

Charlie Curtis has already been on a reality TV dating show before MAFS UK. Lovestruck High was a reality dating show that ran on Amazon Prime in 2022. Lindsay Lohan relived her Mean Girls era by narrating the show. Charlie was part of a group of British 20somethings who had to pretend to be teenagers at a fake American high school. The contestants had to turn up to fake lessons, learn cheerleading, find a prom date and compete with each other for a $100,000 (£80,000) cash prize. Er, I guess weirder TV shows have been made?

Charlie was unlucky in her quest for love on the dating show. She seemed to have a connection with a contestant called Beth, but then Beth chose another girl over her. Charlie was then voted off the show for being single. Might Charlie finally find love on MAFS UK? (spoiler: it doesn’t look like it).

Charlie works in Cobham, Surrey at a property services business called APW Property.

Charlie is a massive Swiftie

She has a whole Instagram highlight devoted to Taylor Swift. She wore a Speak Now-inspired ensemble to the Eras Tour at Wembley in August, and chronicled the entire experience in extensive detail on her TikTok account.

She has a dog

Charlie owns an 8-year-old French bulldog called Beau. The pair go for lots of lovely walks together in the Surrey countryside and in Wimbledon Park. Nawwww.

Charlie came out when she was 26, and has had one serious relationship since then. She also revealed on Tuesday’s episode that she once flew to Ireland for a first date.

The experts matched Charlie up with an Irish lifeguard called Eve Reid. When MAFS UK premiered on Monday, Charlie posted a TikTok that kind of hints her MAFS experience didn’t go as planned.

The video’s text reads: “Me because MAFS UK starts tonight!!!!!” Charlie lip syncs to the chorus of Taste by Sabrina Carpenter. As we know from the fabulously unhinged video with Jenna Ortega, Taste is about someone dumping you and then getting back with an ex you being really bitter about it. Charlie mouths, “I heard you’re back together and if that’s true. You’ll just have to taste me when he’s kissing you.” This does not exactly bode well for Charlie’s relationship with Eve.

Eve’s Instagram also kind of hints that she has a new girlfriend who isn’t Charlie. It sounds like some serious drama is going to go down on the show soon.
