So now Steven has decided to shade his Love Is Blind UK ex Sabrina in Instagram posts

After their shock Love Is Blind UK split, Steven has now began shading ex Sabrina on Instagram, and making light of the behaviour she said was why their marriage didn’t work out. Yep, that seems like completely a good idea after a public breakup!

During the reunion episode, Sabrina opened up about what caused their relationship to break down. Whilst Steven said it was mostly distance, she said there was a severe lack of effort on Steven’s part, and he wouldn’t visit Belfast, where she is based, as much as she would travel to London to see him. Steven’s financial situation was mentioned, and Sabrina said she made a lot of lifestyle changes to fit around Steven, which weren’t reciprocated.

Now, on his Instagram story, Steven has not-so-subtly made a few digs at all this, and has seemed to make it feel as though the whole situation is a bit of a joke to him.

Steven started by asking his followers for boutique hotel recommendations, which seems initially quite strange when him living in a flat share and not having money to visit Belfast was one of the reasons he split with Sabrina, but there we go. When the recommendations came back he shared a few, and threw shade at Sabrina.

“Those who said Belfast very funny, but you already know I can’t afford the flights or car hire,” he said, referencing when Sabrina said she paid for those things for him.

In another post he thanked his family for their support, and all the Love Is Blind UK viewers who have reached out with kind words. He then said he wanted to “have some fun” and continued to poke fun at the reasoning Sabrina gave for why things didn’t work out for them after Love Is Blind UK.

He shared some more responses to his initial hotel call out, and one said he should “ask Sabrina for a loan” to which Steven said he “needs this hotel in my life”. He then shared a picture of a meal for two and said he hoped the other person was paying.

Speaking of their split previously, Sabrina said “distance was not an issue” and explained “it only became an issue when the effort wasn’t reciprocated”.
