Um, Sabrina reveals Steven had his ex girlfriend come to their Love Is Blind UK wedding?!

Guys maybe we should have seen the red flags sooner, because Sabrina has revealed Steven invited his ex girlfriend to their Love Is Blind UK wedding. What’s worse? She actually came.

Conversations about Steven’s ex before the experiment came up in the pods when he was dating Sabrina. On the show, Steven said his last girlfriend left him after a battle with cancer. “I was seeing somebody, a long term girlfriend, who at one point I thought probably was my person that I was gonna get married to,” Steven told Sabrina.

“She was ill for quite a few months, just sporadically, and we didn’t know why. Eventually she had a consultation, and the consultant came in, and he then proceeded to say that they’d found a tumour. For the next few months, I watched someone who I loved dearly, basically fight for her life.”

Steven then explained his ex decided she wanted to “focus on me” and ended their relationship. Whilst it’s not been confirmed this is the ex who came to their wedding, she is the only previous relationship Steven told Sabrina about in the pods.

Talking in an interview, Sabrina admitted Steven invited his ex to their Love Is Blind wedding, and spoke openly about how awkward the encounter was for her.

Speaking alongside the other Love Is Blind UK girls, when asked if she thinks it’s a red flag to have a current partner who is still in touch with their ex, Sabrina said: “Steven brought his ex girlfriend to our wedding.”

Catherine then asked Sabrina if “she was nice” and Sabrina said she “didn’t get to speak to her” to which Maria said she was shocked she “didn’t come up and say congrats or anything.”

Sabrina then replied, “I went up and introduced myself to her” to which Catherine called her “so brave” and admitted “I couldn’t do that.”

Awkwardly, the interview then flipped to Steven being asked the same question about staying in touch with an ex, and he said: “It shows they treat each other with respect – it depends what the boundaries are. Some of my best female friends, I’ve had a relationship with, and just because we didn’t work out on a romantic level doesn’t mean we can’t be friends.”

The comments are all saying the same thing: We’re learning A LOT about Steven post show. “I genuinely can’t look at Steven the same,” one person said. Another added: “Steven is really giving red flag.”
